BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo BBQ favorite is stepping up to help the Salvation Army amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, Chiavetta's Bar-B-Que Chicken is putting on a special fundraiser at the Salvaiton Army's Main Street location in Buffalo, across from the Medical Campus. It's selling chicken dinners for $12 apiece, cash or check only. Each meal comes with chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad and a roll with butter.

The drive-thru and walk-up only event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but Chiavetta's encourages you to call them at (716) 254-0725 ahead of time to reserve a meal.
