BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Zoo will honor heroes on the front lines with a super promotion starting this weekend.

Every Sunday in August, the zoo will host 'Superhero Sundays'.

Workers who helped during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic will get free admission, while their guests will receive half-price admission. The Zoo asks that you bring an ID to verify.

Each Sunday honors a different superhero.

Here's who gets free admission for 'Superhero Sundays'

  • August 2nd: Health care workers
  • August 9th: First responders
  • August 16th: Educators
  • August 23rd: Service workers
