CAMBRIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A local distillery is extending a helping hand to the community by turning spirits into sanitizer. You can stop by on weekends to fill up and keep your hands clean.

“We’re trying to meet that need and help out the community around us," said Todd Snyder, Co-owner and Distiller of Niagara Craft Spirits.

They follow the World Health Organizations guidelines for their formula and make it in house out of local alcohol.

"Obviously soap and water works best, if you’re home you can do that. But if you’re out running around, you need to pick up medicine or groceries, you’re going to want some hand sanitizer. Swing by here and we’ll top you off,” said Snyder.

It's BYOB, bring your own bottle, and they'll fill it up with up to 6 oz. of homemade sanitizer. They're looking for help so they can supply more.

“We’re looking to partner with local wineries that may have some wine that they would like to give us for free to join with us in this,” said Snyder.

You can come by and fill up on weekends at 4408 Ridge Road (Rt 104) in Cambria, 12-6pm on Saturdays and 12-5pm on Sundays.

“Come on in, we’ll do our part to help out our community and keep everyone safe and healthy," said Joe Nardecchia, Co-owner and Distiller. “Think of your neighbor and let’s keep everyone healthy and safe. Let’s do it together.”
