GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — Fuccillo Automotive Group is giving back to the hard working men and women on the front lines.

The auto dealership on Grand Island has been working to clean and disinfect first responder vehicles in Western New York with a special state-of-the-art formula designed to eliminate harmful microbes, bacteria, germs and viruses.

“They’re being very generous by donating this service,” said Scott Zylka of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. “We are thrilled that they are doing this for us.”

Zylka says Fuccillo has already disinfected many sheriff’s office patrol cars, and plans to do the entire fleet. He says this will help with the disinfecting process in between shifts.

“You usually have two person to a car,” he said. “Anyone else comes in there and we have to clean it and disinfect. If it’s going to save some of our Clorox wipes and our disinfectant sprays, it’s worth it.”

The application retails for $250 but Fuccillo’s is doing it free of charge. They say it’s a small way to give back during this crisis.
