BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Diocese of Buffalo has placed Rev. Donald Lutz on administrative leave while the Independent Review Board looks into two allegations of childhood sexual abuse made against him.

Lutz currently serves as pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Buffalo.

Two women claim Lutz sexual abused them in the 1970s. He was ordained in 1970.

The diocese says it has referred both complaints to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

The diocese has not yet named a replacement for Lutz during the investigation.
