Buffalo police suspend civilian employee for "reprehensible" social media post

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Police Department has suspended a civilian employee for a "reprehensible" post made to social media.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood announced in a statement Monday evening the employee made the post on his personal Facebook page.

Seven Eyewitness News has learned the post shown below, by Bob Marth, is now the subject of an internal investigation.

The employee is suspended without pay.
