Reward offered in fatal Buffalo hit and run case

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Police Accident Investigation Unit is attempting to locate a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday.

Police say the 2007 black BMW was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday in the area of 869 Fillmore Avenue.

The vehicle is believed to have heavy front end damage and possibly missing a front driver's headlight. Officials say the vehicle may also have an unregistered paper license plate.

According to police, a pedestrian, only identified as a 57-year-old Buffalo male, was struck and killed. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center where he died.
