BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Police Department and several officers are being sued, following an incident during summer protests in Buffalo.
Police Lieutenant Michael DeLong and other officers are accused of violating a protester's constitutional rights. The protester claims he was arrested during demonstrations and that his arrest led to him losing his job.
Lieutenant DeLong has had a history of run-ins before, a 7 Eyewitness News investigation uncovered 36 complaints against him in his 20 years on the force.
