BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police are investigating the death of a man and a woman Wednesday.
Police say officers responded to a rescue call just after 9:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Broadway where a man and a woman were found unresponsive.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was transported to Buffalo General Hospital where he later died. Police say both were in their mid 50s.
Officials say the Erie County medical examiners will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
