Buffalo police investigating after one dead, two injured in overnight shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a man is dead and two others are injured after an overnight shooting.

Police say two men arrived at Erie County Medical Center in a private vehicle around 2 a.m. and said they had been shot.

Around 3:30 a.m., a third man arrived at ECMC from a private vehicle with a gunshot wound.

A 29-year-old Buffalo man was declared dead at ECMC. A 32-year-old Buffalo man and a 29-year-old Buffalo man have been treated and released from the hospital.

Police believe the victims are connected to the same shooting which happened in the first block of Schmarbeck Avenue early Saturday morning. Detectives say a fight broke out during a gathering or party.
