BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say they are investigating after a dead body was found floating in the Niagara River near Unity Island, Sunday morning.
Investigators say the body was found just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
The Buffalo Police Underwater Recovery Team was called to the scene and recovered the body of a woman.
The woman's identity has not been released.
