Buffalo police, ATF searching for stolen weapons

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Buffalo Police Department are searching for a large group of individuals regarding the theft of weapons from a pawn shop over the weekend.

According to the ATF, nine shotguns and three rifles were taken from Metro Loan Pawnbrokers on Broadway in Buffalo. One of the stolen firearms is an AR-15.

Authorities say the large group broke into the pawn shop on Sunday, May 31, between 12:15 a.m. and 1 a.m.
