BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you want to make sure your goosebumps are still working, take three minutes and watch the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra's virtual performance of Igor Stravinsky's 'The Firebird.'
Masterfully performed under the direction of music director JoAnn Falletta, the BPO-produced video blends shots of each musician with historical pictures showing the rise of some of Buffalo's greatest landmarks. Among them - City Hall, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and the acoustically perfect Kleinhans Music Hall.
The BPO has suspended its schedule until May 31st. This virtual concert will have you yearning for the return of live performances, while also taking your appreciation for this award-winning musical machine to the next level.
