BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Friday, the Buffalo Niagara International Airport announced it celebrated five million travelers passing through the airport in 2018.
Laura Tevens, of Getzville, was the official five millionth passenger.
Tevens, along with her husband Greg and two daughters, received a $500 airline travel gift card and BNIA travel swag.
J.D. Power ranked the BNIA the number one in customer satisfaction among all medium hub airports in North America in 2018.
The BNIA says it has handled 300,000 more travelers in 2018 than last year.
