BUFFALO, N.Y (WKBW) — A Buffalo native is now the CEO of Sullivan's Brewing Company USA.

Michael Meade and his 1702 Irish Ales Group, LLC. led the initial seeding investments in Sullivan's and he was integral to Sullivan's launching in Buffalo in 2017.

Group CEO for Sullivan's Alan Quane announced Meade was named CEO of Sullivan's USA earlier this week.

This move and Michael’s vast experience set and energy will give Sullivan’s the strategic and operational focus to achieve our full ambition in the US market place.

Meade spent 29 years on Wall Street trading and financing businesses at Citibank, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.

There is a great deal of excitement around our great beers and our position in the market setting up a world of opportunity for Sullivan’s in terms of further growth and expansion. I am really looking forward to working closely with our team in Ireland to build our business.
