BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man who investigators say "willfully" crashed his vehicle into two exterior gates located at One FBI Plaza has pled guilty.
Police say Robert Lowe repeatedly rammed his vehicle into the gates and caused significant damage back in March of 2017.
The FBI spent $889 on emergency gate repairs and temporary barriers. The FBI also purchased two new gates, new gates, new gate controllers, and a new guard booth. This cost the government agency an additional $88,040.
Lowe pled guilty to depredation of government property. He faces up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
