BUFFALO, N.Y (WKBW) — Update: Buffalo Police have releases the name of the victim who died in a shooting over the weekend.

According to police, 31-year-old Jasmine Harrison of Buffalo was shot and killed on Eller Avenue Saturday night.

She was transported to ECMC with multiple gunshot wounds and described her injuries as "serious." She was declared deceased at ECMC Sunday.

Police do not believe this was a random act.

The second shooting occurred just after 3 a.m. Sunday morning on the 1200 block of Broadway outside of The Groove Lounge.

Police say Marquino Green, 38, of Buffalo was struck by gunfire. He was transported to ECMC for treatment where he was later declared deceased.

The Groove Lounge posted on Facebook that it would be reopen Tuesday following the incident.

In 2018, the Buffalo Police Department temporarily closed the establishment following a different shooting.
