BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced a Buffalo man has been sentenced for sexual abuse of a child victim.
The district attorney's office says 45-year-old Johnny M. Linton pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse in the first degree in March of 2020.
Linton admitted he subjected a child victim to sexual contact at a location in the City of Buffalo in December of 2019.
State Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia sentenced Linton to two years in prison followed by 10 years of post-release supervision Wednesday.
Linton must register as a sex offender upon his release from prison. A no-contact order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim which remains in effect until January 17, 2030.
