Buffalo man in possession of fentanyl sentenced to 6 years in prison

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man was sentenced to six years in prison for being in possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Prosecutors say they found a bag containing more than half an ounce of fentanyl along with packaging materials and a scale inside Rodney Nevins vehicle.

Nevins was found guilty of one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Obstructing Governmental Administration and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.

The 31-year-old man will also serve 3-years of post-release supervision.
