Buffalo man charged in deadly Doat Street stabbing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 26-year-old Buffalo man now faces a potential 25 years to life in prison, accused in a fatal stabbing.

According to the Erie County District Attorney's Office, 26-year-old Talyn D. Williams was virtually arraigned on Saturday, charged with Second Degree Murder and Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation.

Williams is accused of choking a woman inside a home on Doat Street back on June 19. After the altercation with the first victim, investigators say Williams stabbed another woman outside of the home. The second victim, 28-year-old Allison Turner, died from her injuries at ECMC.

Williams is scheduled to return to court on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. He is currently being held without bail.
