BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man faces a maximum of nine years in prison when he's sentenced for planning to sell a deadly drug cocktail.
29-year-old Francisco Valencia pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, the highest possible charge.
In June 2018, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Valencia's home. While searching the residence, the deputies recovered a bag containing more than ½ an ounce of heroin and fentanyl, as well as paraphernalia to sell the drugs. Valencia admitted there was $15,000 in his house that he and others were going to use to buy more drugs. DNA testing linked defendant to the drugs recovered.
Valencia is set to be sentenced on May 1.
