Buffalo man arrested for driving while intoxicated with multiple children under age of 11 in car

HANOVER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Chautauqua County officials have arrested a Buffalo man on multiple counts of driving while intoxicated, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say 39-year-old Eliezer Morales had multiple children in his car who were under the age of 11, when he was stopped for various alleged traffic violations on Route 5 and Route 20 in the Town of Hanover.

Morales has been arrested on the following charges:

  • 4 Counts of Felony Aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law)
  • 4 Counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child
  • DWI
  • DWI Per Se
  • Fail to Dim Headlamps
  • Speed in Zone
  • Moved From Lane Unsafely
  • Possessing More Than One NYS Drivers License

He was subsequently sent to the Chautauqua County jail.
