BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It appears homeowners in Buffalo stay put for a little while.
According to research by Lending Tree, Buffalo homeowners live in their homes for seven-and-a-half years on average.
That's good for third among 50 American cities.
Only New York City and Pittsburgh beat out Buffalo.
Lending Tree also found the median three-year home price appreciation in Buffalo, is 19-percent.
That means Buffalo homeowners who stay for the average amount of time, could see their home's value rise by more than 44 percent!
