BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's the old saying, people always find their way back home. That's the idea of a two and a half day project called Buffalo Homecoming. 50 people who either grew up here, went to school here, or started their careers here will return to Buffalo on Wednesday and immerse themselves in the resurgence of the city.

Successful people from Arizona, to California to New Jersey will be in town touring the medical campus, the Buffalo Waterfront and the Albright-Knox Museum. Jack Connors, the co-director of the event hopes these expats are inspired after their trip to invest back in their hometown.

Of course, the expats will also wine and dine at the Buffalo staples and will hopefully be impressed with all of the city's improvements.
