Buffalo General ranked best hospital in Buffalo area, 16th in New York state

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A new ranking lists Buffalo General Hospital as one of the top hospitals in New York state.

According to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report, Buffalo General Hospital was rated as the top hospital in the Buffalo area, while ranking 16th in New York state.

This tremendous recognition is proof that their commitment is recognized, and deservedly so.”

Buffalo General was also one of 30 hospitals in New York state to make the Best Regional Hospitals list.

  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
  • Aortic valve surgery
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Colon cancer surgery
  • Heart bypass surgery
  • Heart failure
  • Hip replacement
  • Knee replacement
