BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Common Council is seeking community input on a "defunding the police" questionnaire.
The common council introduced a resolution on June 23, 2020 which calls to create a system to collect and compile written input from the community on their ideas of reallocating funds in the city’s upcoming operating budget.
"By taking the time to fill out this questionnaire, you are participating in a budgetary process that aims to make positive changes to The City of Buffalo's budget," the common council says.
