BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two Buffalo police officers were sent to the hospital after being struck by an ATV Sunday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Fillmore Avenue & Best Street.
Originally, police only said one officer was struck, before upping the number to two around 1 a.m. Monday.

Police said the two officers, who were on bike patrol for the Juneteenth Festival, suffered multiple injuries. Their names and the nature of their injuries were not disclosed.
Police did arrest a Cornelius Caddele, 40, of Buffalo for hitting the officers. He faces charges of assault, reckless endangerment, obstruction plus vehicle & traffic violations.
The ATV has been impounded.
The incident comes as Buffalo police crack down on the illegal use of ATVs on city streets and in city parks.
