BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — A student from Buffalo's Neglia Ballet is now set to compete at a prestigious international competition.
Maggie Weatherdon will compete at the 2020 Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland.
The event takes place February 2 – 9.
The Prix de Lausanne is considered one of the most elite ballet competitions in the world.
Maggie is one of 84 candidates chosen from a field of 377 dancers from around the globe.
She has duel citizenship between the U.S. and Canada.
