BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Born just over a pound, Mikey is 16-months-old and has not left the hospital since being born.
This is his second Christmas at the Oishei Children's Hospital. Mikey's mother, Kristine Barone, wanted to bring the Christmas spirit to his bedside.
The room has battery operated lights and decorations everywhere. Kristine even put a lit Christmas tree in the window of Mikey's 10th floor room, as the family's way of saying Merry Christmas to the city of Buffalo.
The GoFundMe page for Mikey has raised almost $2,000 in just four days to help give Mikey and his family a very merry Christmas.
