BPO honoring veterans and active military with free tickets

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be honoring veterans and active military members this month.

On May 24 and 25, the BPO will perform "An American Salute" at Kleinhans Music Hall. The concert will be conducted by the BPO's Principle Pops Conductor, John Morris Russell. The orchestra will be joined by Rachel Potter, a Nashville recording artist and finalist on the 'X Factor.' She will be the guest soloist and narrator. The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus will also lend their talents while performing an array of Americana music.

Veterans and military members are invited to attend free of charge. Those attending the concert with them will receive a 20 percent discount on their ticket. You can buy your tickets in person at Kleinhans Music Hall or at (716) 885-5000. You can head to the event website for more information.
