BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Multiple viewers have sent us this Facebook Live video (Warning: Graphic language and blood).

The video shows two Buffalo Police Department officers on top of a bloodied man, holding him down.

We reached out to the Buffalo Police Department for more information on the incident, including what happened before and after the video began.

The Buffalo Police Department provided the police report from the incident. Police say Tyshawn Vance was driving with another man, the man who took the Facebook Live video, after 10 p.m. on Friday night.

Police pulled Vance over for not having a light on his rear license plate. The traffic stop was initiated at the corner of Sycamore Street and Lathrop Street. According to police, they smelled marijuana and found crack cocaine during the stop.

Police began to pat Vance down, outside the SUV. They say they found a gun in Vance's possession, and that Vance tried to run. The police report accuses Vance of "preventing officers from gaining control of a firearm." Police say they had to hold Vance down to keep him away from the loaded gun.

Vance was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, drug charges related to marijuana and crack cocaine, obstruction, and resisting arrest. The passenger was arrested for a prior burglary that police say happened last week.
