BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a hit-and-run driver bribed the victim and a witness of the crash with cash before fleeing the scene Tuesday.
Police say the crash occurred around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Sprenger and Heminway.
The victim was walking northbound across Heminway when a burgundy Oldsmobile Aurora with no front plate and no headlights made a left hand turn and struck the victim.
The victim was seriously injured and police say the driver did bribe the victim and a witness of the crash with cash to not report the incident before fleeing the scene.
