NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Remzi Yates is glad to lend a hand to the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission in Niagara Falls this holiday season. You may remember this Niagara County elementary school student from last year. He used his Fortnite Christmas money to buy warm clothes for the homeless. Well, this year he's back at it this year.

“Eight years old, right? And look how he is reaching out to the needy,” said the executive director of The Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission.
The Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission will dish out 30,000 meals this year. Someone has need a place to stay 6,000 times in 2019. The Mission receives no government assistance.

Remzi Yates hopes his story serves as an inspiration for others.

“I hope you can also help the homeless too,” said Yates.
