BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Boy Scout leader, from Elba, has been arrested and accused of sexually abusing children at a scout camp in Piercefiled, N.Y.

State Police say Ronald L. Rowcliffe had "inappropriate sexual contact with several victims." Police say they range in age from 12-to-14 years old.

According to the press release from police, the abuse happened during the summers of 2017-2019 at the Massawepie Boy Scout Camp.

Rowcliffe has been charged with two counts of sexual abuse, one count of forcible touching and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Boy Scot Troop 0086, in Brockport, lists Rowcliffe as the Scoutmaster. The site explains Rowcliffe, himself, is an Eagle Scout.

He is being held in the St. Lawrence County jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Police say this is still under investigation and more charges are pending.
