BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 12 year-old boy hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon on Buffalo's west side has died. The boy, Marcel Yanders, died at Oishei Children's Hospital. He was hit around 3:50 p.m. Monday at Albany and Hampshire on his way home from school.
"I just want closure. Please, if you know something, come forward. If you have video, come forward. Do anything that can help," said Chanel Everhart, Marcel's mother.
No charges have been filed at this time. The accident remains under investigation. Speed was not a factor, according to Buffalo Police.
