EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Borderland Music & Arts Festival unveiled the lineup for its second annual festival September 21st and 22nd at Knox Farm State Park.
Gov't Mule, led by former Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Hayes, and Greensky Bluegrass will headline the festival which will feature over 20 bands and three stages.
The lineup is a mix of national and regional Americana and roots artists which includes:
- Mavis Staples
- Shakey Graves
- The Wood Brothers
- The Infamous Stringdusters
- The Sheepdogs
- Rayland Baxter
- Ghost Light
- The Felice Brothers
- Grant Farm
- Liz Cooper and the Stampede
- Booty and The Kidd
- Mikaela Davis
- Floodwood
A special collaboration between Grateful Grass and Allman Brothers legend and current Dead and Company bassist Oteil Burbridge will also take place.
Borderland will also showcase local talent as Folk Faces, Leroy Townes Band, Hayden Fogle Band, Dead Alliance and PA Line will take to the Homespun Stage.
The festival will also showcase New York State craft beers, ciders and distilled spirits. The stables at Knox Farm will also be transformed into "Artisan Alley" where fans can engage artists from the region.
Tickets go on sale Friday April 5th at 10 a.m. EST at BorderlandFestival.com.
Tickets will be available without a service fee starting April 5th at 42 North Brewing Company in East Aurora, Sportmen's Tavern in Black Rock and Ironworks in Buffalo.
Admission for children 10 and under will be free when accompanied by a paying adult, there will be curated kids zone at the festival.
