Boil water advisory lifted in the Village of Mayville

MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Officials in Chautauqua County say the boil water advisory for the Village of Mayville that began August 17 has been lifted.

The cause of the advisory was a water main leak that happened Sunday night.

A few residents on Chautauqua Street are still under the boil water advisory but officials say they have been contacted directly.
