TOWN OF HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Medical Examiner's office is trying to identify the body of a man that was recovered from the waters off of Woodlawn Beach.
The body of the man was first spotted by Air-1, the Erie County Sheriff's Department's helicopter, while on a routine shoreline patrol.
Both the Town of Hamburg Police and the Town of Evans Police responded to the scene since Evans police are currently investigating a missing person's case.
No other information has been released.
