BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — For every touchdown the Buffalo Bills score this weekend, Bills General Manager Brandon Beane and his wife Hayley will cover the adoption fee for an animal at the SPCA serving Erie County.

The two are taking over a program that was started by former Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka and his wife Lindsey. They started the "Hauschpups" program while Hauschka was still in Buffalo. Now that he's been released from the team, Beane and his wife will make sure it continues. It's now been named the "Bills Muttfia" program.

Every week will feature different "draftees" that are available for adoption. You can check out the animals, and get more information on the progarm here.

New Muttfia members will be announced at noon on the day after each home game. The program is open to all animals. This week features a pair of bonded chihuahua mixes, a cat, and a turtle.
