BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Joey Finley, Co-Manager, Sports Obsession
Derrek Hoffman, Co-owner, My Cuzin Vintage
It’s been a great few weeks for Bills fans, but it’s been an even better few weeks for stores selling Bills gear.
“Everyone’s just trying get something Bills related," co-manager at Sports Obsession in the Walden Galleria Joey Finley said.
Finley said all month long, Bills items have been flying off the shelves.
“We’ve seen sales numbers that we’ve never seen in a January before. Its just been very crazy," he said.
Finley says his sells have soared 65%.
“If we had our Canadian customers and home playoff game attendance, we would see record shattering number,” Finley said.
AFC East Championship shirts are completely sold out at Sports Obsession. As are jerseys for Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.
“We have sold over 700 jerseys, and we could have sold an additional 800 if we had more in stock,” Finley said.
Even vintage shops like My Cuzin Vintage on Elmwood Avenue have been struggling to keep Bills gear on the shelves.
“Yeah it’s been crazy," co-owner of My Cuzin Vintage Derrek Hoffman said. "Usually after the holidays it kind of slows down, but it's just been wild.”
Hoffman says sales have tripled for him in the last few weeks and customers have been coming in nonstop. So if you’re thinking about getting some new swag ahead of Sunday’s game, think fast before it’s too late.
