BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a bicyclist was struck by a BPD vehicle in the area of Grant Street and Potomac Avenue.
Police say the officer was responding to assist another officer on a traffic stop when the bicyclist was struck.
The bicyclist was transported to ECMC and is in surgery shortly after 7 p.m.
Police say internal affairs and the accident investigation unit are on scene.
BPD are on the scene of an officer involved accident at Grant & Potomac. While responding to assist another officer on a traffic stop a BPD vehicle struck a bicyclist. Bicyclist is currently in surgery at ECMC. Internal affairs and accident investigation unit is on scene.
