CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police say a man riding a bicycle was struck by a motor vehicle at a busy intersection in Cheektowaga.
Authorities say the car was traveling northbound on Union Road, colliding with the bicyclist who was traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue around 7:30, Wednesday morning.
The bicyclist was up and moving after the crash; however crews transported the individual to ECMC for precautionary purposes.
A friend was with the bicyclist at the time of the accident and was not hit.
Only minor injuries were reported.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and are not pressing charges.
