CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Cheektowaga Police Department is spreading the word about a number of recent bear sightings in and around the town.
The most recent sighting, according to police, happened June 6. A post on the department's Facebook page says the animal was spotted in the area of the Cheektowaga and Depew border near the intersection of Sable Palm and George Urban Blvd.
