BB Gun leads police to make 7/11 robbery arrest

The North Tonawanda Police Department arrested 30 year old Christopher Lindsey from Peoria, Illinois and charged him with the armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven store located at 492 Oliver St. on November 5, 2019 at 2:27 o'clock in the morning.

Police found Lindsey at an apartment on Oliver Street where officers also found a gun, linked to several local robberies in the Western New York area. According to investigators, the evidence led to Lindsey confessing to a string of robberies.

The gun that was recovered is a replica Walther PPK BB gun pistol.

Lindsey is charged with two C felonies, robbery in the second degree and criminal use of a firearm in the second degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning, November 8, 2019 in North Tonawanda City Court.
