BATAVIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Batavia woman has been arrested for two separate assaults on a child.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office said the first incident dates back to September 2017. Deputies said Niasia Jiggetts intentionally hurt a three-year-old child by striking the child with an object at an address on West Main Street Road in the Town of Batavia.
They then allege that this June, two years later, she did the same thing to a five-year-old child at an address on Thomas Avenue in the City of Batavia.
Jiggetts was arraigned on a felony assault charge related to the 2017 offense in Town of Batavia court. She's due back there in October, and also is due in city court at a later date.
