BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Batavia man pleaded guilty to accessing the internet with intent to view child porn.

In January, 2017, prosecutors say public library staffers saw Robert Richmond, using a library computer to view pictures of child porn. Federal prosecutors did not say which library Richmond was using.

The computer was seized after Richmond left. Prosecutors say seven pictures of child porn were found on the computer.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and $250,000 fine.

Richmond is due to be sentenced in August.
