BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police were able to capture a suspected bank robber thanks to a loyal K-9.
Buffalo police say the suspect walked into a bank on Bailey Avenue Monday morning. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money-- then drove away in a black SUV.
Officers were able to locate the man to his home using surveillance camera footage. K9 Paddy entered the house and found the suspect in a closet hiding under clothes.
Lance Malone is charged with attempted robbery.
