UPDATE: A Town of Newfane man is facing charges after a deadly crash in Lockport that killed his passenger.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office tell us 52-year-old Thomas Summers was driving a pickup truck under the influence of drugs on Lockport Junction Road when he hit a pole and rolled over.
It happened around 7:00 Wednesday night.
Policy say his passenger, a 47-year-old man, died at the scene.
Summers was hurt but is expected to recover.
He is facing a vehicular manslaughter charge as well as other charges.
ORIGINAL: 7 News is looking into a crash that happened in Lockport Wednesday evening.
First responders were called to Lockport Junction Road around 7 p.m., where video from the scene shows a car completely off the road with serious damage.
Details about the driver and the cause of the crash have not been released yet.
