SWAT situation in North Buffalo ends peacefully, after man barricades himself with gun in home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A SWAT situation in North Buffalo ended peacefully early Wednesday morning with a man being taken into custody.

Buffalo police say 52-year-old Vincent Devinger had a gun and barricaded himself inside a home on Tacoma Avenue, near Camden Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Eyewitness video sent to us shows Devinger being led away by multiple officers around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Devinger faces criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, obstruction and other charges.
