BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A local animal rescue has teamed up with one of Western New York's favorite donut shops to help find forever homes for its animals.

Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue announced its partnership with Paula's Donuts Saturday on the "Adopt 'DoNut' Shop" campaign. Paula's will be placing flyers for DITR's adoptable animals on donut boxes to help them find their "furever" homes.

"DITR is so incredibly thankful for Paula's help in spreading the word for our adoptable dogs & cats and we're also so grateful for their donuts!! So stop by one of their shops to grab a dozen and see which one of our adoptable animals you get," Diamonds in the Ruff said in a Facebook post.
